The Academy was recently honored with the Connecticut Voice Pride In Education Award. The CT VOICE Honors are designed to pay tribute to individuals and organizations with a commitment to inclusion, diversity and advocacy for the state’s LGTBQ+ community. We are truly thankful for this wonderful honor.

Director Kim Stroud and Dance Chair Alexa Melonopoulos Fleury accepted the award and members of the Dance Department performed “Abravanel’ by Kate Sutter of SYREN Modern Dance at the Bushnell Performing Arts Center in Hartford on April 27, 2024. Hosts for the evening included alumna Chion Wolf of CPTV and WTNH’s Dennis House.
