Academy Takes to the Fringe - Greater Hartford Academy of the Arts Half Day Program
Last August, young theater artists from the Greater Hartford Academy of the Arts Half-Day Program traveled across the pond to the annual “Festival Fringe” in Edinburgh, Scotland. During the two week period, they witnessed performances from around the world, participated in workshops at Shakespeare’s Globe and the Royal Lyceum, and made connections with peers and professional artists world-wide. They then performed Caridad Svich’s “Upon the Fragile Shore” at Central Hall.
Funding for the trip came from various fundraising endeavors but also from the support of many donors and friends of the Academy.
