Super Bowl LIII not only brought another Patriots win but also brought us some memorable commercials. Two of those commercials have ties to the Academy in that they feature the work of Academy alumni.

First, the popular HBO show Game of Thrones teamed up with Bud Light for a commercial spoof of the show featuring the beer brand’s famous mascot “The Bud Knight.” Opening up the commercial, is a king and queen sitting on the throne. Uttering the lines, “it’s a good day for a dual” you will see class of 2008 alum Sydney Lemmon playing the role of the queen. She was a theater major at the Academy.

Than at half-time, you may have noticed the Peanut Mobile come to the rescue to a kale eating Alex Rodriguez. The artwork on that commercial was done by class of 2011 visual arts major Mena Mir.
