A citywide exhibition featuring local artists has once again come upon Hartford. For two weekends every year, Open Studio Hartford features work from a community of artists in and around the city. For several years, the CREC Greater Hartford Academy of the Arts High School has taken part by showcasing artwork from both students and faculty. Several students from the Academy, ranging from various high school grade levels, each contributed personal work of theirs which was showcased alongside artwork from the vast community of artists in the Hartford area. Work that was featured was strictly through voluntary sign up. The students taking part were, Taylor Brown, Daniel Grady, Nashauria King, Isabella Taverney, Ashley Chanco, Jesenia Doyon, and Kiandre Perez. All of them are visual arts majors at the school. Faculty members Natasha Miles and Molly Shaughnessy Encarnacion also contributed work to the exhibit.
