The Wiffenpoofs, a Yale University acapella group over 100 years in the making, are the latest in a string of guest artists to visit the Greater Hartford Academy of the Arts Half Day. The day started with an informal question and answer session with vocal students from the music and musical theater departments. Topics included college enrollment and personal history of the guest performers.

Following the question¬ answer session, the rest of the school congregated in the Theater of the Performing Arts while their guests put on a half an hour concert that received an enthusiastic response from students of various art forms. Songs performed were original acapella arrangements of “The Rainbow Connection”, “Anything Goes”, “Just Haven’t Met You Yet”, and the Beatles’ “Got to Get You Into My Life.”
