Jazmine Rush, Academy Class of ‘13, is currently working in Chicago’s Shattered Globe Theatre performing in
Stew. The production, written by Zora Howard, is a Pulitzer Prize Finalist and, most recently, was nominated for a Jeff Award, an honor given in Chicago for excellence in theater.
Jazmine majored in theater at the Greater Hartford Academy of the Arts Half-Day program taking part in many performances. She holds a BA from the University of Minnesota-Twin Cities and an MFA in classical acting from Shakespeare Theatre Company's Academy of Classical Acting at George Washington University. She has since built an impressive resume, which includes TV and theater, including Off Broadway. She currently resides in Brooklyn.
